to join our client on a permanent basis in Newport. The company is entering a busy period and are looking for an experienced
Quantity Surveyor
who has worked on RC Frames/Reinforced Concrete to join their team who specialise in high rise buildings. You will play a pivotal role in managing costs, contracts, and financial aspects of construction projects within the civil engineering sector.
Role Responsibilities :
Prepare accurate cost estimates for RC frame and reinforced concrete projects
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and control costs.
Administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials and labour.
Collaborate with site teams to assess project requirements.
Estimate quantities for concrete, formwork, reinforcement, and related items.
