Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity to join our growing Property Services commercial team as a Project Quantity Surveyor.The role would suit an experienced Surveyor that provides commercial support to divisional management and takes responsibility for all commercial actions and reporting for given works packages.Values of works can range from £100,000.00 to £25,000,00.00.The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their professional competency.We are keen to speak to candidates with previous experience of internal and external property refurbishments programmes or Frameworks schemes. Planned maintenance work streams. Should have suitably experience in the day to day running of contracts and involvement in commercial reporting and subcontractor management. Awareness of contract forms and notices.Competency in standard Microsoft Office packages such as excel, word is essential.The role is based in our Mill Hill office in North West London.Job descriptionManage and coordinate commercial actions and tasks on given work projects, including but not limited toProcurement,Client applications & correspondencesSubcontract management & paymentsworks progress monitoring and reportingResponsibilitiesSupport to Commercial Manager as directedSupport to Senior SurveyorsProducing accurate timely reporting where requiredProducing accurate measurements and quantities as directedProducing client applications as directedManage supply chain works packages and paymentsProvide client support when requestedClient liaison and a company representative on commercial issuesManage and develop the assistant or trainee quantity surveyor by providing guidance and direction in their development.DutiesDevelops strong & effective working relationships with team and line managementDevelop workings relationships with client representatives.Provide accurate site or drawing measurements when requiredUndertake surveys and review scopes.Provide accurate monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external clientsManaging and maintaining sub-contractors and final accountsCreate monthly payments for contractors and suppliersMaintain and support works trackers and supply chain reportingGenerate works bills or applications as directedAttend Site visits and meetingsCarries out property condition survey if requiredLiaises with operational staff to enable the flow of information between all parties and implement effective working practicesEnsures all commercial procedures and paperwork is administered in line with Quinn policies and procedures.Participates in Project Management meetings as required.Observe site Health & Safety rules and ensure any risks are reported immediately to the site manager.Key SkillsGood written and spoken English.Ability to adapt to changing workloads as required.Passion for commercial accuracy.Must have excel, word and general PC skills.Must have a Driving LicenseAbility to schedule / time manage work tasksFlexible work approachJob Type: Full-timeSalary : Competitive + Company BenefitsNO AGENCIES PLEASE
