We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the dynamic commercial team of a Main Contractor based in Peterborough. Our client specialises in the design and build of affordable housing schemes and�has a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of all materials, plant and labour for the project including
• Programme
• Management and submission of planning applications
• Design Management (if Design and Build contract)
• Risk Management
• Management of Sectional Agreements
• Commercial management of subcontractors
• Contract Management
• Financial reporting

Requirements:

• Experience in affordable housing
• Design and build experience
• Construction related degree
• Subcontract management
• Risk management
• Contract negotiation
• Measurement
• Value engineering
• Microsoft office

Qualifications:

• Construction related degree or equivalent
