Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join an innovative company, within the retail and interior fit out sector, boasting a wealth of experience and committed to delivering quality projects, safely, on time and within budget based in Gloucester.

Our client are seeking an Quantity Surveyor due to continued growth and the successful individual will have experience working on fit out projects ideally in the retail, hospitality and commercial sector. They will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the preparation of cost plans and budget estimates and understanding of construction contracts.

This position would be great for someone who is looking for an exciting new change and to join a growing success. This role is open to candidates who are experienced in the industry to candidates looking to further develop. Package and duties will differ dependent on experience.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

• Quantity Surveyor to join an Interior fit out company based in Gloucester
• Preparing regulating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
• Valuing work completed on site and certifying payments
• Carrying out valued engineering
• Estimating cost variations
• Preparing cost reports and cash flows
• Completing final accounts
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

• A team player and keen to work with Clients and colleagues
• Ambitious and keen to develop
• Experienced in the roles of a Quantity Surveyor
• Excellent at managing workloads
• Confident at client meetings and with key stakeholder engagement
• Excellent at problem-solving
• Methodical in their approach to tasks
• Experienced in working for a main contractor and ideally working on fit out packages
• Cost estimating background would be desirable
• Commutable distance to Gloucester and hold a full driving licence

Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Competitive Salary �30,000-�55,000 (D.O.E)
• A company car allowance will be offered
