About the role:
Astute's Power team is partnering with a multinational organisation specialising in the planning and implementation of turnkey power plants to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on 12 months for its Scotland site.
The Quantity Surveyor role comes with competitive rate per day.

Key skills:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment
• Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate change orders and variations in scope of work, and assess their impact on project costs
• Prepare and submit progress payment applications to the stakeholder on site.
• Negotiate to settle the project account with the EPC progress and verify quantities for payment purposes

• Scotland
• Outside IR35
