Role: Quantity Surveyor



Contract Type: Freelance or Permanent



Salary: £65K- £75K plus package / £350 - £425 per day



Location: Borough Green, Kent 



Sector/ Projects: Residential - High End New Build Developments 



An excellent opporutnity for a Quantity Surveyor opportunity to join an award-winning house builder who specialise in a range of timber frame and traditional build residential developments across Kent and the surrounding areas.



Their initial sites are in Cranbrook Kent consisting of a  town centre development consisting of a grade 2 listed building conversion into 11 apartments  and 16 3xbedroom timber frame homes & commercial space. (v. £6M) and another in St Leonards on Sea East Sussex, a 30 unit traditional build development, and another in Kent for 90 units.



The company have solid expansion plans to grow the business and aim to have doubled their turnover by 2025. They have a solid bank of land, and a secured pipeline of new sites for a few years to come.   



Most of their work is within Kent and Sussex and they have a requirement for a QS to be based from their new offices near to  Borough Green Kent, with spending one day a week on site. 



Reporting into the Managing Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing multiple packages and looking after 2- 3 projects under the MQS with duties including sub contract management and orders, valuations, cost control and budgeting, variations, valuations. negotiating, bench marking and analysis of build costs and other general quantity surveyor duties.



To Apply:



- 5 - 10 years experience in quantity surveying



- Recent new build construction / housing experience



- Main Contractor or House Builder background
