GBR Recruitment are working in close partnership with a well established progressive new build housing developer recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor (non chartered or chartered) to manage multiple new build sites, inc. budgets & costs, from the initial site inception stage right through to full build completion, preparing accurate monthly site valuations (CVR's) covering Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire & other areas.You must be a seasoned QS that is strong in CDM & Construction projects across multiple sectors / build types.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a people centric business who believe in developing their employees further, as well as offering a fun vibrant working atmosphere.Overview Of The RoleTo assist with managing multiple sites from inception to completionEffectively assisting in the management of all site budgets & costs for multiple sitesAssisting with the preparation of accurate monthly site valuations (CVR’s)Daily DutiesWeekly & fortnightly payments of direct & subcontractor labour only tradesAnalyse sub-contractor invoices/applicationsMonthly sub-contractor paymentsKeep Payment Record Sheets up-to-date following completion of each payment runPrepare monthly cost / value reconciliationPrepare sub-contractor procurement tender list for sign off by QSM & Operations /Production DirectorsPrepare tender documents/packs and send out to the relevant sub-contractorsAnalyse tenders upon returnUndertake tender analysis by evaluating tenders and comparing the prices against each other, previous developments, and the site budgetCarry out pre-order meetings with sub-contractorsSkills, Qualifications & Experience RequiredPrevious experience of Eque 2 Housebuilding or COINS software is desirable but not essentialMust be strong in CDM & varied Construction works (£M projects)Bsc Hons Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction related degree or time served in a QS capacityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHold a valid and appropriate CSCS card or commit to obtaining onePrevious experience in a similar QS position working on residential projects within the new build housing sector is useful or any build typesMust be self-motivated and very organised with the ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervisionEmployee BenefitsFantastic Employee Benefits Package discussed at interview (one of the best)Interviews to take place immediately for the right calibre applicant/s Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Management and Manufacturing Industries Human Resources Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at GBR Recruitment Ltd by 2xGet notified about new
