gap construction are proud to be representing this hugely well respected local groundworks contractor based just outside Colchester in their search for a Quantity Surveyor. This firm have built up a strong reputation for quality delivery and efficiency. My client will consider all levels of quantity surveying experience from trainee/assistant/project level.
Performance Objectives

• Preparing, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts.
• To procure sub-contract and material packages.
• Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations
• To prepare monthly reporting for management
• To control and monitor expenditure against budget.

Person Specification

• A few years post degree level experience would be preferable but not essential.
• The Successful candidate needs to be personable, dedicated, and ambitious, but above all poses a positive and can-do attitude.
• Full driving licence
• Ability to form strong working relationships
• Good IT and communication skills
• Able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
