My client is a reputable commercial fit out company with a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial new builds, shopfitting, and new build housing. As we continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team.
Role Overview:
As a Front-End Quantity Surveyor, youll play a crucial role in theprojects. Youll collaborate closely with theCommercial Manager, Directors, and existing team. Your responsibilities will span from project procurement to final account reporting. Heres what youll be doing:
Cost Estimation: Analyze construction plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine material quantities and calculate costs.
Bill of Quantities: Produce and price bills of quantity from drawings and specifications.
Tender and Contract Documents: Prepare tender and contract documents.
Financial Analysis: Analyze current and upcoming project finances.
Commercial Changes: Develop responses to commercial changes.
Subcontract Management: Manage subcontractors.
Site Visits: Familiarity with site visits and client-facing activities.
