Quantity Surveyor Civils

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Tier 1 client on a road widening project near Oxford.
Reporting to a visiting Senior Quantity Surveyor, responsibilities will include;
Responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the commercial function of the project
Cost management reporting and supporting, change management, procurement
A deep understanding of the project's contractual and commercial requirements, including contractual compliance, quality and risk management.
A thorough understanding and competent execution of the monthly reconciled values and updated forecasts for approval by the Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
A sound understanding around the valuations cycle and associated deadlines, prioritising and managing both your own as well as the team's time accordingly.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client to agree valuations and variations.
Interface with and form productive/effective relationships with the site team(s).
About You:
Prvevious experience as Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering contractor.
You will be commercially driven and astute, with a flair for building relationships with clients, contractors and the operational team.
Experience on civil engineering, heavy civils, infrastructure, groundworks, 278 works projects.
