Location: Birmingham



Description: Reporting to the Head of Quantity Surveying, the successful candidate will be responsible for:




  • Leading the cost management of multiple projects from inception to completion.

  • Overseeing the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, pricing documents, and other documentation.

  • Managing and mentoring a team of quantity surveyors and ensuring high standards of work are maintained.

  • Advising on procurement strategy and contractual claims.

  • Assessing the commercial impact of design changes and providing cost-effective solutions.



Successful Candidate Will Have:




  • A recognized degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, coupled with significant professional experience in the residential sector.

  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent.

  • A strong track record in financial management and cost control on large-scale residential projects.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team of quantity surveyors.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approach.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, able to effectively coordinate with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
