We have partnered with a pioneering start-up in the cryptocurrency sector, who have a strong backing from some of the biggest venture capitalist funders in the industry.
They are on the hunt for a Quantitative Researcher and a Quantitative Trader to spearhead the creation, implementation and delivery of highly lucrative crypto strategies.
As a member of the Quantitative Team, you'll be tasked with crafting trading approaches for cryptocurrencies, leveraging the latest insights from scientific enquiry through AI, Machine Learning and advanced mathematical/statistical methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Exploring alphas across different frequencies in the cryptocurrency landscape
Rigorously testing and deploying strategies in Python/C++ within real-time trading environments
Engaging collaboratively with internal teams including Data Scientists, Quantitative Traders & Researchers, Software Engineers and Senior Management to propel pioneering research initiatives
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in developing systematic trading strategies within banking/financial services or prop trading
Proficient programming skills in C++ or a similar object-oriented language is essential
Masters degree or a PhD in applied mathematics, stats/financial engineering, computer science, physics
Adept at solving complex problems
Detail oriented
Self-starter who can take ownership of projects from beginning to end
Exposure to or an interest in crypto markets and blockchain technology is advantageous
Familiarity with High-Frequency Trading (HFT) strategies in preferred
Salary:
£150,000 - £200,000 per annum

Please note, this position is based in Central London and will require you to work on-site 5 days per week.
