THE QUALITY TECHNOLOGIST

We are looking for a food industry experienced Quality Technologist to get involved in all technical aspects including auditing and traceability

You will be carrying out a vital role in supporting the Technical Team and enabling the business to carry out its technical activities effectively. The key part of the role is to respond to customer enquiries and requirements, assist with the implementation of new products and get involved with updating specifications. Some other key activities will include: -

• Ensuring product developments meet customer, legal and food safety requirements
• Client and Supplier liaison
• Supplier Approval Documentation
• Keeping abreast of legal, food safety and labeling changes and maintaining a strong and regular customer contact build on customer relations
• Completion of the necessary paperwork for imports and supplier audit trails
• Support Validation Activities
• Conduct Internal Audits

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment in a Food or FMCG supervisory capacity is essential.
• Attention to Detail with a strong focus on Quality
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Good skills
• Great organisational capabilities
