Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician to join their growing team in Chichester.

The Quality technician will join the companies small Quality Assurance team, ideally you will have familiarity and experience with the ISO9001 standards.

Responsibility & Duties:

• Support production activities by collaborating with managers, engineers, and production staff to ensure compliance with design specifications and materials standards, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Support shop-floor inspection, 1st Off and In-Process, and product testing inspection including goods-inwards inspection and maintaining supplier assurance records.


• Generate reports on quality findings, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions, including internal reject reports by data entry into the system communicating effectively with relevant parties.


• Support the maintenance of the internal calibration system by arranging and controlling internal and external calibration.


• Support product release generation of dispatch documentation.


• Review specifications and liaise with the client to support the development of quality control plans for their subsequent monitoring and release of products including raising supportive documentation.


• Internal process and system audits in accordance with the company procedures, arranging and managing external supplier audit activity in accordance with the requirements of relevant standards.

Ideal skills & experience:

• Understanding of ISO9001


• Experience working within a quality control / quality assurance environment.


• PC Literate


• Quality Inspection experience - desired
