Job purpose
To support the Food Safety and Quality systems across company sites
Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure the HACCP/Quality Systems are correctly implemented, monitored, and controlled
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, managing external agencies and ensuring product safety and security
Ensuring all audits are carried out to the required standard e.g.,Group Supplier Audit or accreditation standard and audit preparation
Generating and issuing required reports
Day to day management of the quality management system
To ensure compliance to relevant legislation, GMP and hygiene standards
To ensure internal and external audits are carried out in a timely manner
Ensure raw material, process control and finished product specifications are up to date in conjunction with the group quality team
The Candidate:
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety and food hygiene
Previous experience with a quality environment and running both internal and external audits
Previous experience in a production environment
Experience of dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing, and implementing specifications
Experience managing a team
Monday to Friday
