Cranleigh STEM is working with a sustainability-minded food manufacturer in South Yorkshire. My client produces high-quality goods used in human and animal food, agriculture, and other industrial applications. We are looking for a Quality Systems Supervisor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.As a quality systems supervisor, you will work to ensure all aspects of food safety, quality and authenticity are met, including the maintenance of quality systems. Salary: £32,000 - £35,000Benefits: Company pension, 25 days holiday + banks, private healthcare (after 24 months service) Location: South YorkshireRole: Full-time, PermanentResponsibilities: Develop, monitor, and control Quality and Quality Systems. Maintenance and support of Group Quality Systems in line with BRC, FEMAS, ISCC, etc. and legislative requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation relating to product safety and legality. Develop and implement relevant GMP and Hygiene Standards. Complete both internal & external audits, maintaining an Audit Plan in conjunction with the Quality/Technical Team. Ensure Quality Audits, including Raw Materials, are carried out. Maintaining an Audit Plan in conjunction with the Quality/Technical Team for both internal & external audits. Evaluating Supplier or Quality against the relevant standards. Ensure non-compliance and customer complaints are correctly investigated and followed up. Skills & Requirements: Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, & Food Hygiene. Preferably knowledge of all relevant legislation relating to food and feed, animal by-products and waste. Proven practical experience in developing, managing, and implementing systems. Experience in training and coaching employees. Experience in dealing with suppliers and customers, generating, agreeing, and implementing specifications. Experience of GFSI audits (BRC, ISO22001) and ISCC audits. Experience in dealing with Government agencies, including Local Authority at local and National level. Valid UK Driving Licence.
