Are you an experienced Quality Officer/Auditor, looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Quality Officer/Auditor, working for a highly reputable client located in Washington. This position provides support to the on-going development and management of the Company's quality function and the supporting systems.

In addition, the role encompasses compliance responsibility that will require support in several key areas of the business. To assist the Quality and Training Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (including future ISO accreditation). To support the on-going Genba Kanri (GK) Improvement activity across all areas of the business.

Quality Officer/Auditor Main Duties & Responsibilities:

� You will assist the team in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (including ISO accreditation).

� Support the on-going Gemba Kanri improvement activity across all areas of the business and conduct audits, reporting and management of corrective actions.

� Manage the quality audit schedules and attend meetings, taking minutes and monitoring actions.

� Prepare the Quality Reports for management.

� Actively ensure a quality service offered to all departments is of a high standard.

� Ensure the day-to-day function of the Quality Department is achieved.

� Preparation of monthly / weekly reports, as required.

� To conduct audits, reporting and management of corrective actions.

� To manage Quality Audit Schedules.

� Liaise with operations with regards to the "Genba Kanri" and ISO activities.

� Liaise with General Managers and Managers with regards to scheduled monthly meetings.

� To attend Quality scheduled meetings, take minutes and distribute.

� To prepare Quality Reports for management.

� Liaise with support services with regards to compliance related items.

� Liaise with operational staff during audits.

� Ensure Genba Kanri Audits and ISO Audits are carried out as per the schedule.

� Ensure Genba Kanri Reports and ISO Audits are received on time from all areas of the business.

� Any other task delegated.

Quality Officer/Auditor Applicants:

� High level of knowledge of Logistics and Warehousing industry.

� Good general health and safety awareness.

� Experience of Gemba Kanri principals.

� Experience of working with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

� Experience with auditing.

� Excellent report writing skills.

� Good organisational, presentational, planning and administering skills.

� Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

� A Full UK driving license is essential.

� You must have a positive, 'can-do' approach to work.

� Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people management skills are required.

� Must be confident to be able to deal with internal / external customers and liaise with different departments.

� Willing to learn new skills / attend training courses as required.

Competitive salary available. Working days Monday - Thursday 07.55am - 16.35pm and Friday 07.55am - 13.35pm, however flexibility is essential.
