Quality Manager

A Quality Manager position has become available within a business that supplies high value technologies to some of the most exciting organisations. On-site they produce a range of complex products using modern-day manufacturing techniques and supply these to a broad range of multi sector customers right across the globe. Located in the Redditch area, this company is working through a considerable period of growth and is offering a salary of between £65,000 - £70,000, pension scheme of 7%, 33 days annual leave (option to buy more), flexible working hours (midday finish on a Friday), company shares scheme and bespoke personal development programs for the right engineering professional.

Quality Manager responsibilities include -

Manage the Quality area, organising KPI's and training plans when required.
Ensure that customer concerns are investigated correctly & preventive actions are put in place.
Maintain the QMS and ensure that these are aligned to customer and company requirements.
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring that the business is always legally compliant
Drive the use of lean and continuous improvement methodologies.Quality Manager desirable skills and experience -

Sector experience - Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, or Yellow Goods.
Ability to use the relevant core tools and help to drive continuous improvement.
Systems trained, examples would be - ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100.
Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.Quality Manager benefits include -
