Quality Manager

Quality Manager Location: Havant Salary: £50,000 - £55,000Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. With a strong focus on quality engineering and management, this is a permanent position based in Havant. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Quality & Environmental Management Systems through the company's intranet system. In addition, you will provide administrative support and monthly data analysis to the Head of Quality. Your role will encompass creating and updating QMS documentation, managing the monthly calibration schedule, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and serving as the Subject Matter Expert for IT Quality Systems/Processes.Key Responsibilities:Strong technical skills with a background in manufacturing (electronic & / or mechanical engineering).Familiarity and working knowledge of standards including ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 80079/34 (Explosive standard).Robust internal/external auditing skills, with qualifications/certifications in audit management.Acting as the Quality / Environmental business process owner and running meetings at the leadership level.Serving as a driving force across the business, with proactive thinking and a focus on continuous improvement.Potential to succeed the Head of Quality role as part of the company's succession planning.Requirements:Experience in quality systems engineering or management, particularly in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 80079/34 (Explosive standard).Proven internal/external auditing skills, with qualifications/certifications in audit management.Ability to lead and engage effectively with senior management and stakeholders.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.In return, our client offers a competitive salary, a bonus scheme, a share incentive scheme, hybrid & flexi working options, training & professional development opportunities, healthcare incentives, paid parental leave, a generous company pension, a salary sacrifice car scheme, and free electric parking.If you are an experienced Quality Manager looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and innovative company, please apply now
