Opportunity to work for a leading FMCG manufacturerSite Quality Manager based in Greater ManchesterAbout Our ClientMichael Page is working with a leading FMCG manufacturer to recruit a Site Quality Manager for their manufacturing facility in Greater Manchester. This organisation has a European presence and supplies a diverse range of high quality products and services to a wide range of customers.Job DescriptionYou will champion and lead a culture of quality across site, delivering a quality and product safety improvement mindset. You will ensure clear standards are in place and adhered to and will support CI activities across site. You will:Manage all day to day Quality and Product Safety activities across site, ensuring company, plant, stakeholder and regulatory standards are metEnsure compliance with BRC, ISO 9001 and all other relevant internal and external standardsManagement and continually develop procedures, documentation and auditing of the management systemEffectively investigate and process complaints, managing the process for any corrective and preventative actionIdentify training needs to meet quality requirements, co-ordinate and deliver training where requiredEnsure site is always 'audit ready'Communicate and build rapport with customersPlay a key role in the delivery and site strategy and budget as part of the site leadership teamDevelop expertise across site to continuously improve Quality and Product Safety across the siteThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Quality Manager will possess a range of the following:Experience managing Quality department within an FMCG manufacturing environmentFully quality Internal Auditor (preferably lead auditor)Demonstrable experience of developing and managing quality systems and auditingExcellent leadership acumenProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesAbility to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and across all functionsAnalytical with a keen eye for detail and the ability to use root cause analysis techniquesProficient in reportingExperience in dealing with customers with the ability to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders Michael Page is part of the PageGroup.
