Job DescriptionJob Title – Quality Manager / Compliance ManagerLocation – LiverpoolEstablished in 2018, we offer a comprehensive range of engineering services focused on facilities, energy and construction. Our primary offerings include consultancy services, M&E design, project delivery, facilities management, and energy services. We provide these services with a strong emphasis on sustainability and decarbonisation, to support our clients in transitioning from conventional power and heat generation to low carbon and renewable energy solutions.We are headquartered in Liverpool and work with clients across the UK.The position, reporting directly to the group GM, has emerged due to a rapid increase in business inquiries and growth plans. Therefore, we are seeking to add an exceptional member to our team. What’s required is a highly motivated, experienced person with proven ability in quality, compliance and operation excellence.As the Digital, OpEx, Quality & Compliance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our business performance by ensuring our services are not only compliant and meet all external and internal requirements but are also of the highest quality and efficiency. Your expertise will help lead the integration of digital tools and operational excellence strategies into our quality management system, driving efficiency and innovation. Your leadership will ensure our services exceed customer expectations and maintain legal compliance, setting new standards in service provision and operational practices.You will need to liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly and provide regular updates to the Senior Management Team. Where appropriate, you'll advise on requirement changes and how to implement them and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.Compliance within the role means ensuring that Avrenim’s contractual & statutory obligations on document control & record keeping are fully compliant and fit for purpose, and with regular health checks, a self-improvement plan will be maintained with actions ensuring a continuous improvement in our standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain company's quality procedures, standards and specifications maintaining external quality accreditation's year on year.Be expert on the company quality management system and the process to manage it, acting as a single point of contact for any questions arising.Understand customer and client needs and requirements to continuously improve effective quality control processesLiaise with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliersSet standards for quality & complianceEnsure that service provision meet both international and national standardsImproving waste reduction and increase efficiencyDefine and re-define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staffMaintain and continuously improve controls and documentation proceduresMonitor and effectively critique performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports including complete digitisation.Review and critique existing policies and make suggestions for changes and improvements with effective implementation techniques.Performance measurements and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvementsAnalysis and assessments of the effectiveness of changes madeProactively seek opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient proceduresLead and key point of contact on external accreditation for quality and other standardsAttend Senior Management team meetings to report on all above mattersRequired Skills and ExperienceProactive and conscientious with a close eye for detail.Up to date with all modern techniques and digitisation.Outstanding communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsProficient in MS Office and bespoke IT software systemsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Sharepoint workflowsIn depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standardsCertification of quality control and ideally full training (ISO 9000, ISO14001, ISO15001 etc.)If you are interested in this position, please apply with your current CV or call Sam Smitten-Downes of Nicholas Associates on 07889575216What is on offer?Basic Salary 35-45KCompany profit bonus5% Pension matched.25 Days annual leave (increased on service) plus bank holidays.2 days paid leave for charitable/social cause of your choice.Cycle to work scheme participation.A dynamic, exciting and evolving work environmentA company culture dedicated to growth for it people, its clients and the world.
