Quality Manager

Due to significant growth a UK leading West Midlands based coatings company is looking for an experienced Automotive Quality Manager to join their team. Supplying their products to the Automotive industry among others. you will be an integral part of the team providing Quality support to the business. You will be part of a company that have continued to grow their technology and facilities to offer the best possible service to their customers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has exceptional Quality Engineering skills and enjoys being in a hands on role.

As the Quality Manager you will be supporting the companies QMS and managing all aspects of Automotive Quality, with the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Use 8D to implement corrective actions
• Manage both Supplier and Customer concerns
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement activities
• Complete product and process audits both internally and externally
• Manage and complete the PPAP and APQP processes
• Introduce NPI activities

To be successful in this role you will be experienced in the automotive industry along with the following requirements.

Requirements

• Proficient in ISO9001 requirements and policies
• Previous experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
• IATF16949 and VDA auditing experience
• Plastic Moulding experience

In return as the Quality Manager, you will receive:-

• Salary of �35,000 - �40,000 per annum
