Quality Lead

Quality Lead Salary: up to circa GBP55k per annum (DOE) Location: Telford Hours: Monday Friday 37.5 hrs early finish on a Friday (Flexi-time)

Hybrid Working Flexi-time hours 25 days annual leave + Stats Pension Scheme Healthcare Cash Plan We are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to bring in a Quality Lead to develop, implement and maintain quality standards and processes within the operations. This is a new role for the business and therefore would give you the opportunity to really make your own mark on the development of the Quality team and really drive a new quality culture across the business. You will me managing a small quality team initially but there is no doubt that this will grow as the business does. The Quality Lead will be responsible for:
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures Leading, coaching and mentoring the quality team Performing internal audits and implement solutions for any non-conformances Manage supplier quality and goods inwards inspection processes Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures Work closely with the customer team to ensure any customer quality issues are resolved and preventative measures are implemented
Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Lead type role Strong understanding and experience of metal manufacturing processes either from metal fabrications and/or machining Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems Lead Auditor training for ISO 9001 would be ideal but not essential Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques along with quality control methodologies
