This is a new role for the business and therefore would give you the opportunity to really make your own mark on the development of the Quality team and really drive a new quality culture across the business. You will me managing a small quality team initially but there is no doubt that this will grow as the business does.The Quality Lead Will Be Responsible ForDevelop and implement quality control processes and proceduresLeading, coaching and mentoring the quality teamPerforming internal audits and implement solutions for any non-conformancesManage supplier quality and goods inwards inspection processesPerform root cause analysis and implement preventative measuresWork closely with the customer team to ensure any customer quality issues are resolved and preventative measures are implementedSkills And ExperiencePrevious experience as a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Lead type roleStrong understanding and experience of metal manufacturing processes - either from metal fabrications and/or machiningStrong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systemsLead Auditor training for ISO 9001 would be ideal but not essentialKnowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques along with quality control methodologiesThe Application ProcessOur mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
