Join Our Team: Alliance Quality Lead


Location: London or Suffolk (Hybrid Working Available)

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Alliance Quality Lead for the Sizewell C Civil Works Alliance.


About Us: Sizewell C (SZC) is a groundbreaking nuclear power project. Our mission is to deliver a world-class Nuclear Station at Sizewell C in Suffolk, aligning with customer and stakeholder commitments while pioneering new standards in quality and assurance.


Key Responsibilities: As the Alliance Quality Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for the project. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Developing and maintaining a robust QMS, drawing on insights from previous infrastructure projects.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define IT systems supporting digital delivery of the QMS.

  • Ensuring the production of quality management plans and fostering a culture of continual improvement.

  • Facilitating investigations and implementing effective root cause analysis.

  • Coaching and developing quality skills within the project team.

  • Representing the Alliance in client quality interfaces and driving Zero Harm initiatives.

  • Managing the project's sustainability roadmap and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Experience leading quality and assurance in large infrastructure projects.

  • Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute/Chartered Quality Professional.

  • Expertise in ISO 9001 and lead audit qualification.

  • Construction industry experience, preferably in the UK Nuclear sector.

  • Strong communication, influencing, and people management skills.

  • Formal qualification in Quality Management and extensive construction experience.
