Quality Inspector

We are working with a large manufacturing company who are based within the Braintree area, to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their team. The successful candidate will provide control support to the production team and must be comfortable working with a broad spectrum of parts. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, calibration activities and involved in CAPA.
Duties:

• Complete a programme of training to be conducted within the Quality Assurance Department
• Measurement and inspection of turned, ground and assembled components
• Conduct in-process/final inspection activity, maintaining accurate records
• Assist with improving the process capability of machined components
• Conduct and record calibration and auditing activities

To be considered for this exciting Quality Inspector role, you will need the following experience:

• Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role
• Strong problem solving capabilities with high attention to detail
• Industry experience within a manufacturing sector
• Inspecting equipment including micrometers and gauges along with bespoke measuring equipment
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately
• Familiar with Microsoft package or equivalent software
