This role is working at their Barrow-In-Furness facility, which is located right next to the Lake District National Park and is home to 150 skilled Engineers, technologists and manufacturing staff members. This facility serves as a centre of excellence for Subsea Connector systems, delivering cutting edge solutions to the global energy industry.
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient running of the inspection department. The role is responsible for checking of receipted items to drawings & associated specification to ensure conformance. This is a vital role as the outputs from the inspection activity will help steer data driven improvement initiatives across the business.
What will you be doing?
Effective contribution to the management of the calibration system
Inspection of incoming items
Assist other departments with internal quality queries
Participate in customer investigations where necessary
Participate in or drive continuous improvement activities
Keep up to date processes, procedures & instructions of the activity and work of the functionWhat are we looking for?
Previous Quality Inspection experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
Quality Management Systems experience, ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001
