Are you interested in joining the world's largest subsea technology & solutions provider as a Quality Inspector? This role is working at their Barrow-In-Furness facility, which is located right next to the Lake District National Park and is home to 150 skilled Engineers, technologists and manufacturing staff members. This facility serves as a centre of excellence for Subsea Connector systems, delivering cutting edge solutions to the global energy industry.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for contributing to the efficient running of the inspection department. The role is responsible for checking of receipted items to drawings & associated specification to ensure conformance. This is a vital role as the outputs from the inspection activity will help steer data driven improvement initiatives across the business.

What will you be doing?

• Effective contribution to the management of the calibration system
• Inspection of incoming items
• Assist other departments with internal quality queries
• Participate in customer investigations where necessary
• Participate in or drive continuous improvement activities
• Keep up to date processes, procedures & instructions of the activity and work of the function

What are we looking for?

• Previous Quality Inspection experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Quality Management Systems experience, ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001
• Degree/HNC in Production, Mechanical, Electrical or Quality Engineering desirable
