The ideal Quality Inspector will have:Experience in conducting inspection operations within a Kanban manufacturing facilityThe ability to identify non-conforming products and ensure product non-conformity is managedAble to support all corrective actions & quality reviews to ensure preventative action is effectiveDuties of the Quality Inspector role will include:Conducting inspection operations within the Kanban manufacturing facilityEnsuring the process flow is un-interrupted and the required delivery schedule is supportedUsing a range of hand tools to ensure work is being produced to a high standardVisual inspectionRecording & reporting all internal & supplier defectsEnsuring products & final release documentation are supplied to customers defect freeEnsuring where unavoidable errors occur, they are detected as early as possible during the manufacturing process and not at the pre-treatment or final inspection stageDuties more specific to this role include:Booking in sub-contract partsPre Process InspectionsIdentifying and reporting non-confirming products and arranging rework where requiredFinal inspection of all Kanban kit deliveries before dispatchThe company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidaysA generous flexi-time schemeTraining and development opportunitiesWhat Next?
