Quality Inspector

Kenect Recruitment are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for our client based in Nottingham. We are looking for people to work on rotational shifts.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Inspection of parts dimensionally using Vernier Callipers, Micrometres and Gauges.
· First-off inspection of parts in production shops
· Aesthetical inspection of parts.
· Read and use engineering drawings to thoroughly and precisely inspect parts.
· Work with the Inspection team to rectify issues.
· Producing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
· Identifying and reporting on any repeating quality concerns.
· Maintenance of inspection records.
· Maintenance of a clean and organised inspection office.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Quality Inspector, from an engineering/manufacturing environment with a minimum of two years of experience. Such working experience would include the use of tools such as Vernier Callipers, Micrometres and Gauges. The candidate would display excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Skills and Qualifications:
A desirable skill set would include, but not be limited to:
· Well organised.
· Methodical and precise with good attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Good IT skills.
· Skilled use of precision measurement devices.

The Position:
This is a Full-Time Position at 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift basis (early finish on Fridays!).
Working hours will be as follows:
Morning Shift - 8% Shift allowance applied
Monday- Thursday 6.00am - 2.00pm, Friday 6.00am - 11.30am
Afters Shift - 12% Shift allowance applied
Monday-Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Friday 11.30am - 5.00pm
