Role & Responsibilities:

  • To manage/train and encourage the Quality inspectors within the department
  • To comply with and enforce all Group and Site, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure H&S risk assessments are conducted as appropriate and that all actions identified are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain the calibration system for all measuring equipment
  • To report on the performance of the sites QHSE performance against agreed targets and objectives
  • Facilitate and communicate QHSE expectations throughout the plant

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Good understanding is TS19649, ISO9001, ISO 14001, REACH, H&S and customer specific requirements
  • Trained internal auditor
  • Competent in report writing
  • Problem solving skills using a structured approach and recognised tools
