Full Job DescriptionMy client, an industry leading tier one civil engineering andconstruction firm are looking for a Quality Engineer to join theirRail division on a temporary contract in the North East ofEngland.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one ofthe most prestigious rail projects in the North East ofEngland.nExperience within the civil engineering industry is essentialfor this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background.nTheQuality Engineer will:nEnsure delivery teams progressively collateassurance evidence to certify the worksnCompile and review evidencefor compliance against project specifications, drawings and industrystandardsnSupport the Quality Manager is reviewing Inspection & TestPlans and material approvalsnInterface with the supply chain topromote a right first time approach to works on site and ensure thatQuality briefings are delivered regarding MSI standards andexpectations for QualitynUndertake site surveillance's toindependently verify works are compliantnProvide regular feedback tothe delivery team Agent and Quality Manager on QA performance for theallocated sitesnSupport the Quality Manager in the ongoingimplementation of the project Quality Management Plan and integratedmanagement systemnTo be successful in this role, you willhave:nHighways Specification experience or Network Rail experiencepreferrednInternal Auditor preferrednPCQI preferrednHave a wideunderstanding of the industry, including knowledge of materials,trades, methods and legal requirementsnExcellent working knowledge ofindustry techniquesnGood knowledge of relevant SHEQ requirementsnBe PCliterate in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe AcrobatnPro active, can doattitudenAbility to work under own initiative with minimalsupervisionnAbility to problem solve and analyse technical issuesnHighlevel of attention to detailnAPPLY NOW!nRandstad CPE values diversityand promotes equality.
