Quality Engineer

My client, an industry leading tier one civil engineering and construction firm are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their their team working on High Speed 2 in West London.This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the most prestigious projects in Europe.Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential for this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background.The Quality Engineer will:Ensure delivery teams progressively collate assurance evidence to certify the worksCompile and review evidence for compliance against project specifications, drawings and industry standardsSupport the Quality Manager is reviewing Inspection & Test Plans and material approvalsInterface with the supply chain to promote a right first time approach to works on site and ensure that Quality briefings are delivered regarding MSI standards and expectations for QualityUndertake site surveillance's to independently verify works are compliantProvide regular feedback to the delivery team Agent and Quality Manager on QA performance for the allocated sitesSupport the Quality Manager in the ongoing implementation of the project Quality Management Plan and integrated management system To be successful in this role, you will have: Highways Specification experience or Network Rail experience preferredInternal Auditor preferredPCQI preferredHave a wide understanding of the industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirementsExcellent working knowledge of industry techniquesGood knowledge of relevant SHEQ requirementsBe PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe AcrobatPro active, can do attitudeAbility to work under own initiative with minimal supervisionAbility to problem solve and analyse technical issuesHigh level of attention to detailRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
