Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Quality Engineer join their established team.Benefits:Company pension matched to 5%30 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Relocation assistanceEmployee medical schemeLife insuranceFree onsite parkingFree workwearRemit:As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for managing all aspects of your specified customers quality requirements from concept to end of life.The successful candidate will have prior experience working to IATF16949 standards with knowledge of injection moulding processes.This is an excellent position for an experienced Quality Engineer to secure a role with a leading injection moulding manufacturer.Role:Support drawing review and initial team feasibility confirmation at project launch stage.Support gauge and checking fixture concepts and agree with customers.Support gauge and checking fixture design, including bespoke CMM fixtures.Facilitate process FMEA and Control Plan development utilising internal cross functional team & customer approval.Make IMDS submissions.Facilitate the review of corrective action feedback from samples / ISIR's in conjunction with relevant Account Manager.Verify pre-production samples prior to delivery to the customer including documented inspection requirements for verification.Facilitate capability studies, gauge R&R studies, etc.Prepare and submit PSW and PPAP documentation.Track and progress customer approval including obtaining, endorsed master samples.Support structured launch readiness reviews and confirm status.Facilitate NCR's and drive root cause analysis using quality toolsTrain and Mentor other members of the quality team and businessExperience Requirements:Basic knowledge of all aspects of injection moulding and related processes, injection mould tooling and polymer materialsQuality assurance experience within IATF16949 quality certified organisationExperienced in 8D activities/good problem solving skillsKnowledge of Drawing Dimensional Standards GD&TSPC & Process Capability experienceWoking knowledge of APQP & PAPExperienced in completion of internal audits - DesirableKnowledge of use of CMM inspection equipment/measuring arms/other inspection technologies DesirableSelf-motivated, excellent communication skills & a good team playerKey Words: Quality Engineer, Quality Leader, Quality Technician, Quality Team Leader, "Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Injection Moulding, ISO9001 Plastics IATF16949, Automotive,FOOTERDue to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
