Position: Quality Engineer

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to �35K

My client is recruiting for a Quality Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of quality-related information.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for data analysis, customer support, and relationship management within the Automotive industry.

Quality Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Information Management: Ensure timely gathering, analysis, and dissemination of quality-related information to relevant stakeholders.


• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, compile, and analyze client-specific data from various sources. Provide actionable insights on product quality, potential issues, and customer satisfaction.


• Reporting: Deliver both quantitative and qualitative feedback based on KPIs. Ensure accurate data delivery to AGEU plants.


• Customer Support: Offer dedicated support in analyzing quality issues, initiating containment actions, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.


• Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships both internally and externally, ensuring long-term collaboration and trust.


• Compliance: Monitor and enforce QSHE AGEU procedures and guidelines within the scope of responsibility.

Quality Engineer - Occasional Responsibilities:

• Visit car dealerships for warranty claim parts collection.


• Conduct internal product & process audits.

Quality Engineer - Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of IATF / ISO 9001 (Preferred).


• Familiarity with 8D and problem-solving methodologies.
