Established over 100 years ago, our client is an industry leader in the fabrication and equipment manufacturing sector across areas such as aerospace, rail, maritime and marine, currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineer to join their team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have worked in some kind of QE or QA role previously, with a working knowledge of ISO accreditation's.
Ideally you will have experience in a practical, hands-on quality inspection role where you have used equipment such as Verniers, Micrometers, CMM or Shadowgraphs. You won't need to have experience with I.S.R and F.A.I inspection, but practical, hands-on skills are imperative.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role will see you work closely with the production and engineering teams providing information to help solve any problems that arise. In this role you will be responsible for the regular inspections of inward components and materials, raising rejection notices on suppliers and driving quality within the department to ensure products are reliable and safe for customers.
