Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are looking for a Quality Director to join the Operations team, reporting into the VP, Operations and Supply Chain. As Quality Director, you will be the driving force behind establishing and maintaining world class quality standards across the business. You will lead a dedicated team to implement and maintain our quality management systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer commitments.Wherever possible, we will consider a variety of working options to suit your lifestyle, whether that be hybrid home/office working, flexible working and part or full time employment. We welcome the challenge to work in new ways and have trust in you when getting the job done because we recognise, our business is our people.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive and robust quality management strategy aligned with business goals and objectivesOversight and maintenance of quality management systems in accordance with regulatory and agreed customer standards, including CAA, EASA, FAR, AS, etc.Overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with Part 21G and Part 145 quality standardsOversight of Supply Chain Quality monitoring and driving improvements where necessaryLead, motivate, develop and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into product development, manufacturing and supportEnsure that regular audits and assessments are carried out across the business and within the supply chain to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirementsInterface with customers and supply chain to address quality related issuesOversee and report on the First Article Inspection and Material Review Board (MRB) processesDrive root cause analysis and
corrective/preventative
actions for non conformitiesMonitor and report KPIsIdentify and co-ordinate investigations arising from Quality issues driving them to a conclusion and building the learning back into our business processesEnsure that up to date mandatory training is provided across the businessMonitor and report KPIsStay abreast of industry trends, regulations and emerging technologiesRequired Skills & Experience:Ideally educated to degree level in technical disciplineExtensive experience in Quality Management (Aerospace & Defence advantageous)Detailed understanding of aerospace standards (eg CAA/EASA, AS9100, Part 21G and Part 145)Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills with a track record for developing effective teams andExperience in improving supply chain qualityProven ability in the successful deployment of industry quality tools Security Clearance:
