JOB SUMMARY
This role shall be the technical focal point for the review, analysis and control of material inspection reports of electronic component devices for procedural approval. Working with both in-house test operations, and external vendors and partners to validate and ensure the reports, data and documentation aligns with the necessary industry and business standards.
Assessment of technical documentation will be done within the structure of an operational workflow, and shall require any decisions made to be communicated efficiently and accurately to all associated stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· To support Test Engineering, Quality Control and Business Development in the analysis and assessment of the suitability of parts for approval.
· To serve as the technical lead for the test laboratory with knowledge and experience in electronics.
· Ensure that all critical non-conformance issues recorded, reported and are resolved in a timely manner, and corrective actions are implemented correctly where necessary.
· To collaborate with partners to agree Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods.
· Establish process for monitoring required KPI for supply partners.
· Proactively communicate information or issues that may impact the availability or timescale to delivery.
· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to conduct a systematic review of technical documentation.
· Ability to work within prescribed series of legislative inspection operation.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with associated stakeholders
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
· Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
