Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Wigan (WN6)
Salary: �28,000 per annum
Shifts: Mon - Fri (day shift) 38hrs per week
Contract Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Technician for our client who are a well-established family run business, specialising in engineering high precision components for projects within the UK and internationally.
As the Quality Control Technician, your duties will be:

• Ensure the highest standards of quality within the production department.
• Raise Initial Sample Inspection Reports and documentation packs.
• Perform inspections on machined components and finished products to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use various measurement tools and testing equipment to conduct thorough inspections and accurately record measurement data.
• Identify and document non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards.

The successful Quality Control Technician will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Must have experience working within an Engineering environment.
• Must have some machining experience.
• Proficient with reading engineering and casting drawings.
• Must have the ability to use micrometres, gauges and optical equipment.
• Experience in raising Initial Sample Inspection reports.
