We are looking for a quality control officer to join our production team in Mildenhall. In this role you will be overseeing the quality checks of concrete and steel products pre and post production. * Experience in a production/manufacturing environment with concrete and steel.
* Experience in quality control.
* Experience reading, analysing, and interpreting drawings, specifications, international standards, and production schedules.
* Experience with quality audits.
* Good planning, problem solving and decision making.
* Ability to build relationships, credibility, and trust.Responsibilities of the role:
* Ensure that all products achieve the quality standards required.
* Communicating quality issues, product damage and processes to ensure production runs efficiently and advise any production delays that occur.
* Identify quality issues pre and postproduction and rectify issues in a timely manner.
* Ensure raw materials meet standards prior to being used.
* Support production team leader with training.
* Undertaking cube and slump testing as well as other random quality control checks.
* Document and reporting of product quality whilst keeping accurate records.
