Quality Control Inspector

The company have rapidly grown over the last few years, this role is a pivotal role where you will be ensuring the highest standards of quality in operations. You will be monitoring inbound goods and components as well as overseeing the in-process quality control of assembles.
The role will involve regular contact with customers and other team members, we are looking for a confident individual who can adhere to instruction, policies, protocols and other provisions of the quality management system.
This office-based opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for:
detailed inspections of machined components and assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards.
inspection results and maintaining detailed records of all quality checks.
with cross-functional teams to address any quality concerns or deviations from established standards.
in root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
measurement samples for storage and archiving.
that measurement equipment is maintained and within calibration.
Skills & experience required.
Experience in a Quality Control role within the automotive industry
Must be able to use engineering measuring tools, including verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMM and FARO arm amongst others.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic engineering/ manufacturing background
Excellent attention to detail
