Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Advisor is responsible for conducting Internal Audits across our Highways department. This is a 6 Month Fixed Term contract offering agile working, with travel to our Warwick HQ and/or Quinton office 1-2 times per month. We can also consider part time hours if desired.

What you'll do:

  • Produce and maintain a comprehensive suite of audit checklists to ensure the scheduled audits are aligned to the Telent standards as well as ISO 9001
  • Produce comprehensive records for scheduled audits such as the audit report and any generated Non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure actions which will include 'Non-conformances, Observations and Opportunities for Improvement' which have been identified during audits are followed up with the action owner for closure.
  • Collate information from internal, customer and external audits as well as customer complaints and commendations for various external reports.
  • Investigation reports and root cause analysis for areas of non-conformance
  • Correction and remedial action to address identified non-conformance.

Who you are:

You will have previous experience working in a similar Internal Audit or Quality Assurance role and hold the relevant Auditor Qualification, covering ISO9001 Quality Management certification.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control related role previously
  • Experience in carrying out audits to the ISO9001 standard and preparing reports.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Ability to prioritise workload and re-schedule accordingly ensuring that all timescales are adhered to
  • Knowledge of ITIL 4 requirements is desirable.
  • Full driving licence.
