Quality Assurance Specialist - Food

Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist, to be responsible for quality of food products. You will also drive a culture of Quality Assurance across all departments and implement processes improvement as well as compliance within the department.

Main responsibilities:

• Product Tests and Assessment on food products received


• Meet KPI’s


• Supplier liaison & root cause analysis


• Checking of weight of products again specifications & weight checking of meals prepared


• Responsible for internal auditing of food product safety and quality matters


• Checking food safety documentation records


• Monthly ATP Testing & facilitating the internal & external audits


• Working with the production team

Experience required:

• Previous experience of Quality control preferably in a catering environment


• Previous experience of efficiently managing, motivating, and developing a team is essential


• Ability to work in a team


• Able to work extra hours when required


• Able to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines


• Ability to work under pressure
