Quality Assurance Officer

Brightwork are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our client, a renowned manufacturer in their site in Ayrshire during an exciting period of expansion and growth.Working within the Quality Department on a dayshift basis, the Quality Officers responsibilities include:Perform batch release & review of critical quality records.Support QA processes to ensure compliance with required regulations and company policies.Analysis of quality data & generation of quality reports.Support final product disposition & control of non-conforming material.Support the CAPA process, including deviations & customer compliant investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis & appropriate corrective actions are implemented.Coaching and training of production and technical personnel on quality & regulatory requirements.Communicating the requirements of appropriate quality standards, e.g. ISO9001 or GMP.Supplier quality managementSuccessful candidates will be expected to have a degree in a relevant science, engineering or quality subject and relevant experience within a food/drink or pharmaceutical industry, including experience working within a quality function. A thorough knowledge of FDA, MHRA, GMP requirements, auditing and legislation is desirable.
