Throughout the UK the Group employs close to 500 including pharmacists, skilled technicians, HR, IT, procurement, warehouse, and customer services staff.
Our Quality Assurance department are key to making sure the products we make and distribute are of the highest standard and that all our departments are working in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Throughout this 12 month placement, as a Quality Assurance Officer – Aseptic Services your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to:
Monitor and Assist quality assurance activities, to ensure compliance with GMP and GDP
Promoting quality compliance, performance improvement and achievement throughout the organisation.
Controlling and maintaining Pharmaceutical Quality Systems.
Writing, reviewing, and approving quality documents (For example, unplanned incidents, change requests, CAPA, procedural documents, complaints, master batch records etc.)
Supporting the Aseptic Department with quality activities such as the raising and execution of quality documents (For example, unplanned incidents, change requests, CAPA, procedural documents, complaints, master batch records etc.)
Approving and periodic reviewing of vendors, including identification of supply chain and creation and approving quality agreements.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
Currently attending university studying a scientific related discipline
Experience working in pharmaceutical / healthcare / life sciences industry advantageous.
English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-B (or equivalent).
Highly computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software.
Demonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisions.
Well-developed verbal, written, numeric and presentation skills.
Good planning, organisational and time management skills along with an ability to make decisions, solve problems, negotiate, influence, and communicate effectively with others.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 18.00
