Quality Assurance Manager

THE COMPANY
A fast-moving business who produce a wide range of general merchandise and home and leisure products with offices in the UK and overseas.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for delivering the quality strategy ensuring legal, safe and fit for purpose products are available for customers, with the aim of reducing customer complaints, faulty returns and negative customer reviews
Conduct product risk assessments, technical benchmarking to ensure products meet brand guidelines
Approve samples, packaging, copy, instruction manuals and relevant documentation in line with the critical path, meeting agreed timescales to deliver products for sale.
Organise in line and pre shipment inspections
Coordinate with testing houses to ensure your products are meeting standards complying with legislation in the UK and other countries
Analyse returns and agree corrective action plans/improvements
Provide technical advice and support to buying and customer service teams
ABOUT YOU
You will have demonstrable experience of working in a Quality-focused role. You may already be working as an established Quality Manager, Technical Manager or be a Senior QA Technologist / Product Technologist looking for a step-up. Product experience within general merchandise, hardlines, or homeware preferred. Experience working with the Far East.
