Quality Assurance Engineer - Due to rapid expansion my client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their studio. Established as a start up and based in the gaming hub of the UK, our client employs circa 20 personnel who work out of an impressive creative studio.
Our client is focused on the goal of making great games without corporate bureaucracy. "focus-on-the-game" mentality is our clients ethos, which has enabled the business to grow their development of multiplatform games including new generation consoles.
Due to year on year growth our client is actively looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their successful, collaborative team - contributing towards to success of their impressive games.
As an experienced QA Engineer you will be employed to carry out your dream job... "Play the game till it breaks" - working closely with the development team in fine tuning games, ensuring the business build the most enjoyable games for players across the world.
As the preferred applicant you will:
Find and report bugs
Perform regression testing
Validate new content, features and fixes from the development team for both quality and functionality before those changes are submitted to the game
Proactively give feedback on the significance of the bugs encountered, the status of the current build and your perception of the game's quality
Work autonomously, prioritising work in accordance with the project's needs
Support the development, production and marketing teams according to specific requests
Take an active interest in game quality, ensuring content is at the highest quality
