Are you a talented Quality Assurance professional? If so, we need you! We’re looking for someone to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assessor in our Salford Quays, Manchester office. In this role you’ll ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed. This means you will make sure all First Central employees are operating at the required competency and meeting regulatory requirements.We’re all about people and we’re passionate about continuous improvement, so you will contribute to positive improvements to our customer experience and outcomes. You will also provide reports and analysis of current trends to allow for further development.You’ll be great in this role if you have: Experience in Motor and / or Home InsuranceStrong Microsoft Excel knowledgeExperience in a Quality Assurance roleWhat’s involved:Conduct quality assurance assessments and cross validations as required, within agreed timescales and as per agreed scheduleAchieve KPI’s and SLA’s including timely and accurate delivery of all tasks and reportsIdentify and assist with continuous development of departmental processes and procedures and drive improvement to support the achievement of business objectivesSupporting with external supplier reviews when requiredAnalyse adequacy of identified risk and the reliability and adherence to internal controlsWork collaboratively with all teams and colleagues, ensure consistency to quality assurance approach and best practice within the teamProvide positive and constructive feedback to colleagues and suppliers, building and maintaining respectful relationships with all colleagues, working closely with other departments and supporting them as and when requiredActively promote continuous improvement and raise bugs when identifiedDemonstrate the company’s values and appropriate behavioursContribute to any ad hoc projects or policy updates as requiredResponsible for own personal development and knowledge management, updating 121/appraisal documentation within required timeframesAny other reasonable duties as requiredYour experience: Providing coaching to employeesWorking in a quality assurance environment including risk and controls principles, focusing on customer outcomesProblem solving and continuous improvement principlesData analysis and translation of management information to tangible actionsPrivate motor vehicle insurance industry, ideally in both policy and claims environmentsWorking in a financial services regulated environment Sound knowledge of insurance policy and claims principlesComprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and company policiesSkills & QualificationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood numeracy and literacy skillsGood organisational skills and ability to multitaskProblem solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to resolving problemsStrong computer skills with experience in MS Office, particularly Word and ExcelBehavioursStrives to deliver performance targets and drive business improvements to contribute to the success of the team and businessBusiness acumenSelf- motivated and enthusiasticAn organised and proactive approach, working well under pressureA flexible approach and positive attitude, keen to help othersEnsures great attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in recording and reportingConfident in presenting complex information in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrate the company’s values and appropriate behavioursTakes initiative to make decisionsAble to work on your own initiative and as part of a teamInterested?
