Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Wirral Council's Safeguarding team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of �41 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Team Manager in the management, development and leadership of the social work team in order to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children, young people and their families to deliver high quality services that address need and lead to improved outcomes
• Manage the reputation of the Service and the Council
• Work within Safeguarding frameworks
• Carry out risk assessments
• Decision making
• Handle a complex and varied caseload
• To promote and safeguard the welfare of children at risk

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS

• Children
