Key Responsibilities
Child Support: Support children across all areas of the nursery division, demonstrating an optimistic and aspirational attitude towards their development.
Training: Be willing to undertake necessary training to acquire skills required to work effectively in an early years setting.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the staff team to ensure the needs of children are prioritized and met effectively.
Contribution: Embrace opportunities and challenges presented within the role, contributing to the overall success of the nursery community.
Selection Criteria
Experience: Have experience or an interest in working with young children within either an educational setting or transferable sectors such as care & support work.
Qualifications: Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare.
Training: Be willing to undertake the relevant online CPD courses/training prior to starting the role.
Focus: Prioritize the needs of children and demonstrate a willingness to learn new roles.
Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Flexibility: Are flexible in their approach to working with children, adapting to meet their diverse needs.
